What? The Leadership Styles Lens™ : Building the Human Asset, explores the interplay between actual capability and awareness of capability.

The leadership diagram is explained and a link is made between the four styles of leadership and how people learn new skills.

The Leadership Styles Lens™ was designed by The Change Consultancy to enable leaders to understand and refine the development of their leadership styles, particularly with organisation change in mind.

The role of The Leadership Styles Lens™ is to highlight the link between an individual’s Job Focus needs and People Focus needs, and the most appropriate cluster of leadership behaviours – leadership style – to address these.

Think of this as a matching of leadership style with a specific chunk of an individual’s needs.

How? The Leadership Styles Lens™ : Building the Human Asset, demonstrates how the four leadership styles and the four stages of learning work together.

It adopts the example of how a person learns to drive, something with which we are all familiar.
